This policy explains how Amit Dnyaneshwar Gawali (sole proprietor), trading as Goldgrain Studio ("Goldgrain Studio", "we") handles personal data collected through goldgrainstudio.com.
What we collect
- Order and enquiry data: name, email, company, the links you submit, and your brief.
- Payment data: processed by Stripe (or Razorpay / PayPal where used at checkout). We receive payment status and the last digits of the card, never the full card number.
- Chat messages: questions you type into the studio chat, used to answer you and improve our answers.
- Technical data: server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) kept for security for up to 30 days. Analytics only with your consent, and cookie-free where possible.
Why we use it
To deliver the services you order (contract), to reply to enquiries (legitimate interest or pre-contract steps), to keep the Site secure (legitimate interest), and to meet tax and accounting obligations (legal obligation). We do not sell personal data.
Who we share it with
- Stripe, Razorpay and PayPal (payments), Brevo (transactional email), Anthropic (studio chat answers), Amazon Web Services in Ireland (hosting), Google (YouTube playback, only after you press play).
Some processors are outside your country. Where required we rely on standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.
How long we keep it
Client records for as long as required by tax law (typically 8 years). Enquiries that do not become projects are deleted after 24 months. Chat logs after 12 months.
Your rights
You can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing, by emailing [email protected]. If you are in the EU or UK you may also complain to your data protection authority. California residents have equivalent rights under the CCPA/CPRA; we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising.
